Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will join the "Network Dynamics & Computations" team led by Srdjan Ostojic and develop research projects on modeling neural circuits and their role in behavior. The work will focus on studying the principles of neural computation through recurrent neural networks, dynamical systems theory, and machine learning.
Activités
- Develop mathematical and computational models of neural networks
- Analyze neural population dynamics recorded by experimental partners
- Collaborate with project partners
- Participate in scientific activities of the team and scientific consortium
- Study learning mechanisms and plasticity in recurrent networks
- Publish research results in international journals

Compétences
### Knowledge
- PhD in computational neuroscience, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
- Mastery of computational neuroscience concepts

Contexte de travail
The researcher will join the Neural Theory Group at ENS, within a dynamic research environment. The team is part of the Laboratory of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience (LNC2). This position is part of the ERC Synergy Chronology project, a collaboration with the experimental teams of Brice Bathellier (Institut Audition), Virginie van Wassenhove (NeuroSpin), and Mehrdad Jazayeri (MIT).
