As part of a European project funded by the European Research Council and in collaboration with Stéphane Dieudonné's laboratory (ENS), Brice BATHELLIER's team at the Institut de l'Audition, research center of the Institut Pasteur opens a position for a postdoctoral researcher to:
- Set up a cell-resolved optogenetic stimulation technique
- Use this technique to study the connectivity of the auditory cortex in vivo
- Apply this technique for targeted disruption of sensory perception
- Rodent surgery
- Two-photon and optogenetic calcium imaging
- Data analysis
- Communication and formatting of results
PhD in neuroscience with a specialization in optogenetics and use of non-linear optical microscopy methods.
Experience of cranial surgery in rodents
Notions of scientific programming
This position is funded by a European project of the European Research Council. It will take place in collaboration with the laboratory of Stéphane Dieudonné (ENS), in the team of Brice BATHELLIER at the Institut de l'Audition, research center of the Institut Pasteur.
