Job Description

Missions

The objective of the project is to carry out a detailed study of transition metal carbides using solid-state chemistry and materials science techniques.

Activity

-Responsible for the study of transition metal carbides using solid-state chemistry and inorganic materials science techniques (XRD, HRMET, XPS, SPS, etc.).
-Scientific exchange with project partners.
-Data analysis and drafting of reports and scientific publications.
-Participation in internal and external meetings (among academic partners of the MONICA project).

Your Profil

Skills

-The candidate must have defended their thesis in the fields of material science and inorganic chemistry.
-He/she must be highly motivated and possess excellent knowledge of solid-state chemistry techniques.
-He/she must have a perfect command of English, both spoken and written.
-The candidate must have knowledge of Japanese, with JLPT N4 level required.
-A valid work permit for Japan is required.

Your Work Environment

-LINK is an International Research Laboratory (IRL) established in 2014 in Japan in the field of chemistry. Its represents an innovative model of collaboration between two academic institutions (NIMS and CNRS) and an industrial partner (Saint-Gobain).
-This project will be part of the ANR MONICA consortium

-The position is located in a sector related to the protection of scientific and technical potential, and therefore requires, in accordance with regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the competent authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
