Missions

The hired post-doctoral fellow will be in charge of the preparation and characterizations of thin-films or photovoltaic (PV) devices by chemical process deposition. He/she will be a member of the collaborative partnership ANR NanoLetsGos research program, relating to the preparation of new nanocomposite electrodes materials for PV.

Activities

The postdoctoral fellow will work at the Laboratory for Innovative Key Materials and Structure (LINK) at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Ibaraki, JAPAN, in partnership with Japanese groups from NIMS. LINK is a joint CNRS-Saint-Gobain-NIMS International Research Laboratory (IRL) in materials science.

Skills

The postdoctoral fellow should have a recent (less than 2 years) Ph.D. degree in the field of materials science. We especially welcome self-motivated individuals with strong backgrounds in the sol-gel and colloidal chemistry and/or PV devices.
The postdoctoral fellow must be able to communicate fluently in English (required level: C1/C2) and French (required level: C1/C2), both written and spoken. Basic knowledge in Japanese language will be strongly appreciated.

Work Context

The postdoctoral fellow should live in Japan for at least three months before hiring and should have a working research visa valid for the contract period.

Constraints and risks

Short periods of travel within Japan and/or abroad should be expected.
