Missions
The ANR Renzoriga project aims to study enzymatic nanoelectrochemistry and understand how nature enables highly efficient electron transfer. We have recently developed software called QBIOL (qbiol.org), which will be used to simulate the system.
Activities
The engineer will need to master our QBIOL software and propose developments for simulating this nanoelectrochemical system. They will work in direct collaboration with experimentalists based in Paris, as well as other team members in Tokyo and at LAAS who are working on electrochemical simulations.
Our chosen approach combines quantum transport and stochastic processes. This project represents a new building block for QBIOL, which aims to become a startup in the future.
Skills
Experience in Python programming, ideally with GPU hardware.
Ability to adapt to Japan and work effectively in a team.
Work Context
The work will be carried out at LIMMS, an International Research Laboratory (IRL2820) of the CNRS located at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo.
It is a hybrid environment involving CNRS researchers and professors from the University of Tokyo.
Simulations will be performed on an internal server equipped with GPUs.
