Description of the thesis topic

Experimental characterization of Hall effect thrusters using combination of diagnostic techniques such as optical emission and absorption, Langmuir probes, etc. enhanced by the application of machine learning techniques

Work Context

The successful candidate will work in the propulsion team at LPP which currently consists of 5 permanent researchers, 2 PhD students, 2 postdoctoral researchers. The PhD studies will be performed in the experimental rooms of the propulsion team at LPP in Palaiseau.

The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
