Job Description

Missions

The successful candidate will join the Magneto-optics team at the Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses in Toulouse (LNCMI-T). He/she will develop the instrumentation to observe for the first time traveling wave enantioselective electron paramagnetic resonance (TWEEPR).

Activity

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel GHz experimental techniques within the Magneto-optics team at the LNCMI-T. Together with other team members, he/she will design the experimental setup, oversee its fabrication, assembly and testing, before conducting his/her own chiral EPR spectroscopy projects.

Your Profil

Skills

The successful candidate will join the Magneto-optics team in an interdisciplinary environment that demands a broad range of competencies. We are looking for someone who:
Holds a PhD in physics or instrumentation, or an equivalent BAC+5.
Has experience in electron paramagnetic resonance
Is skilled in high-frequency electronics, in instrumentation programming and in data acquisition and analysis.

The Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses (LNCMI) is a major research facility serving the international scientific community. Its core missions include the development of technologies for the generation of high magnetic fields and the corresponding scientific instrumentation, their application in cutting-edge research, and the hosting of external researchers. As a member of the European Magnetic Field Laboratory (EMFL), the LNCMI actively contributes to scientific progress at the European level.
