Missions

As part of the European research project SPECIPHIC, the engineer (M/F) will be responsible for maintaining and developing the existing optical microscope used for quantitative phase imaging in thick samples. Their tasks will range from optics to biology, including signal processing and programming for microscope control. The individual will interact daily with other team members to successfully carry out their missions.

The recruitment will take place within the XLIM laboratory, a multidisciplinary joint research unit (UMR - CNRS 7252), in collaboration with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). The institute brings together over 500 experts across a wide range of fields, including electronics and microwaves, optics and (bio)photonics, mathematics, computer science, and image processing.

The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
