Job Description
Missions
The postdoc will plan and conduct brain imaging studies on cue-reactivity, craving, and impulsivity in eating disorders, in the context of an IReSP funded research project.
The postdoc will analyze existing structural and functional MRI data, acquire new data in collaboration with clinical researchers, and prepare publications and conference presentations.

Your Profil
Skills
The postdoctoral researcher should hold a doctoral degree in neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, or a related field. Required qualifications include:
Hands-on experience with brain imaging (particularly fMRI)
Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and programming (e.g., SPM, MATLAB, Python, R, etc.)
Strong scientific writing skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with patients and clinicians
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, be highly motivated, have a strong interest in clinical neuroscience, and possess excellent skills in quantitative methods, statistics, and project management. Experience in dietary decision-making, eating disorders, or addiction/craving is considered a bonus.
Your Work Environment
The Center for Research in Neuroscience Lyon (CRNL), part of Inserm, CNRS, and Lyon University, is one of the largest neuroscience institutes in France. It provides an excellent and stimulating research environment with access to state-of-the-art brain imaging facilities (two research-dedicated MRI scanners: 1.5T and 3T, hybrid PET-3T MRI, MEG-EEG).
The vibrant research community at CRNL and nearby neuroscience institutes (ISC, SBRI, see LABEX CORTEX) offers many opportunities for discussions and training, including regular seminars and various journal and method clubs.
The SOCIALHEALTH team, led by Dr. Leonie Koban, conducts innovative research in social, affective, and health neuroscience. English is the working language of the team, but speaking French or an interest in learning French will be advantageous.
