Missions

The post doctorat fellow will be in charge of conducting quantum optics measurements combining semiconductor single photon sources with glass optical chips. The objective is to perform calculations, simulation or quantum cryptography on chip and significantly increase the level of complexity accessible through the combination of the two platforms.

Activities

Quantum optical measurements: coherent control of an artificial atom, photon correlation measurements, data analyzes, mentoring of master and PhD students working on quantum light sources

Skills

Strong expertise in optics and quantum optics at the experimental level. Bases in Optical Modeling and Solid State Physics. Excellent level of written and oral English. International team work.

Work Context

The position is funded by the project QUANTERA HiPhoP, in collaboration with the CNR of Milan, the Universities of Vienna, Oxford and the Institute of Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
