Missions

The successful candidate will join the LPNHE cosmology group to work on the cosmology analyses relying on the ZTF supernova dataset.

Activities

The successful applicants shall dedicate ~30% of their time to the general effort of the ZTF-group to help build the SN light curves and extract distances. The remaining 70% will be available to cosmological analyses.

Skills

Applicants must have a PhD in cosmology, astrophysics, data science or a related field. Experience with computing, HPC, and astronomical data analysis would be a plus.

Work Context

The LPNHE cosmology group is involved in several large cosmological surveys: ZTF, Subaru, LSST, DESI. The successful applicant will join the LPNHE cosmology group and work within the ZTF collaboration. S/he will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other projects, in particular Rubin/LSST and DESI
