Run experiments of spin wave spectroscopy under electrical current


- Nanofabrication
- Magnetism and transport measurements
- Microwave measurements
- Data analysis


The candidate must hold a Master degree in Physics or Material Science, and strong
know-how in nanofabrication, microwave engineering and cryogenics

Work Context

The Institute of Physics, Chemistry and Materials of Strasbourg (IPCMS) is an interdisciplinary Mixed Research Unit (University of Strasbourg – CNRS) composed of 5 departments and of about 240 employees of which ca. 80 researchers and teacher-researchers and ca. 60 technical staff members. The IPCMS is a renowned research centre in the field of nanomaterials, nanoscience and functional materials that located at the Cronenbourg Campus in Strasbourg.
The candidate will joign the Nanomagnonics team within the IPCMS/DMONS. 2 specificities:
- Access to platforms (StNano, Xrays, magnetometry)
- Dedicated instrumentation : MAGHY and probe station
