Missions

Post-doctoral researcher in an industrial collaboration with a French SME:

1) Development of new photosensitive resins for high performance textiles.
2) development of a pilot in conjunction with the industrial partner
3) characterization of prepared materials and their evolution/stability over time

Activities

-development of photosensitive resins
-polymerisation monitoring upon irradiation
-scaling of laboratory solution on an industrial pilot present in the laboratory
- Optical microscopy to characterize fibre coating;
- monitors the photopolymerisation of long and short fibre composites

Skills

good knowledge in polymers and photopolymers
Knowledge of textiles/fibres is a plus.

This position is available at the institut of materials in Mulhouse (IS2M).

The Mulhouse Materials Science Institute (IS2M) is a CNRS-University mixed research unit located in Haute-Alsace (UMR 7361). Because of its multidisciplinary character, its scientific impact and the way it interacts with other fields, the laboratory represents one of the structuring forces in the field of Materials and their applications in the academic and industrial world, both at regional and national level. This position is availble in the group of Prof. Jacques Lalevée.

in the context of an industrial collaboration, it will develop a photochemical process for the treatment of textile fibres and yarns.
Laboratory development up to the development of a pilot.
