The person recruited will construct, characterise and evaluate different functional dendrimers. This project is part of an Era-Net EuroNanoMed project "Nan4TUM".
Motivated individuals with collective spirit and experience in the field of dendrimer nanotechnology are welcome.
Individuals are required to submit online their detailed CV, thesis abstract (less than 1 page), post-doc abstract (less than 1 page), and three letters of reference from supervisors in a SINGLE pdf document.
The candidate will design, construct, characterise and evaluate different dendrimeric nanosystems for cancer imaging and treatment. The size, morphology, stability and capacity of these systems will be studied using various experimental approaches such as DLS, TEM, HPLC and fluorescence spectroscopy. Biological evaluation will be assessed in vitro in cell culture and in vivo in mouse models. A structure-activity relationship (SAR) analysis will be performed to optimise these supramolecular dendrimer systems.

CINaM is composed of about 150 people and 5 departments and is located on the Luminy Campus in Marseille (France).
The person recruited will work under the responsibility of Dr Ling PENG in the 'Molecular Engineering and Functional Materials' Department (IMMF). This department is composed of 21 researchers and teacher-researchers, mainly chemists. Fluent English is mandatory.
The contract can be renewed for 12 months or more.
Constraints and risks
The constraints are those relating to the hygiene and safety necessary for the handling of chemicals and biochemicals. The chemistry and biology experiments will be carried out in the well-equiped laboratory to carry out these experiments in complete safety.
