Work Context

The CNRS conducts research in all scientific, technological and societal fields. Each of theme oversees and coordinates a set of coherent research activities in several disciplines. The Laboratoire d'Océanographie et du Climat : Expérimentations et Approches Numériques (LOCEAN) is a mixed unit (7159) with the University Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) and the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN). It is located on three sites: the Jussieu campus at the UPMC and the MNHN in Paris, and the North IRD campus France at Bondy, and it includes numerous sites to the South through the collaborative network and internation mixed laboratories of IRD (SW Pacific, India, Africa, South America). The researcher will be hosted by LOCEAN (Jussieu) and Centre d'Etudes Biologiques de Chizé (CEBC), located in les Deux-Sèvres in the national forest of Chizé, developping programs in ecology on wildlife in their natural environment. He/she wiIl benefit the work environment of the 2 laboratories (office, work facilities, informatic, network access, etc.)
