We are looking for a Post-doctoral Research Scientist to work on a National Research Agency funded project whose aim is to develop a miniaturized Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT) imaging system for biological samples investigations. A part of the system has been fabricated by microfabrication techniques and consists in an array of Mirau interferometers whose reference mirrors can be actuated to improve the investigation depth through phase shifting. The imaging technique relies on the sequential acquisition by a high-speed camera of interference patterns generated at different wavelengths produced by a laser swept-source. Use of a camera allows to probe simultaneously a large number of sample points (Full-field OCT). A miniaturized swept-source is currently under development by a project partner.
The role of the candidate will then be to carry on the imaging tests based on the developed microsystem and to prepare the integration of the miniaturized source. Once delivered, the new source will have to be qualified.

Work Context

This part of the project is under study within the MOEMS group at the MN2S (Micro Nano Sciences & Systems) department of the Femto-st Institute. Femto-st Institute is located at Besançon. The MOEMS group focuses on the development of miniaturized optical systems from microfabrication techniques.
