Missions

The objective of this 5-month post-doctoral project –between September and January 2022 is to achieve atomically-thin SnS2 layers using the surface organometallic chemistry approach to Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) [1].

Activities

The core of the project involves organometallic syntheses and 2D-thin films fabrications, the mechanistic comprehension of their growth and their physical chemical characterization, there included via operando techniques. .

Skills

This project requires skills in synthetic molecular chemistry (organometallic, inorganic and/or organic), in chemical syntheses under inert atmosphere (Schlenk & gloveboxes techniques) and in chemical processes such as ALD/MLD. [1]

Work Context

This project, which is part of the «ULTIMED» ANR project, will be centered at the IRCELYON laboratory - (campus Doua, Villeurbanne), with strong interaction the Nanochemistry plateform of the CP2M laboratory on the same campus. Exchange with molecular chemists, computational chemists and physicists will be necessary.
