Missions

The researcher will participate in the tasks of zeolite synthesis, high pressure, high temperature insertion of BN precursors and structural studies at the synchrotron and in the laboratory.

Activities

The role of the researcher will be to synthesize, calcine and characterize the host zeolite materials, insert the BN precursors in the zeolites under pressure and finally to pyrolyze these composites in situ under pressure in the high temperature diamond anvil cell or in a large volume high-pressure cell where possible. The postdoc will participate in the structural characterization of the composites by x-ray diffraction.

-high-pressure synthesis of nanomaterials

-strong background in inorganic or solid state chemistry
-independent on large-scale facilities

Work Context

The research will be performed in the Cristaux et Nanostructures Multidimensionnels à Fonctionnalité Multiple (CNM2) group of the Département Chimie du Solide et de la Matière Divisée of the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier in the framework of the ANR contract ZEOLIGHT (Prototype de LED UV à base de composite nitrure de bore/zéolithe pour la production de la lumière blanche/Boron nitride/ZEOlite composite based UV LED prototype for the production of white LIGHT)
