Missions

A two-year post-doctoral position is available in Grenoble (French Alps) for working on a collaborative european project (http://www.flashmobproject.eu) between the Department of Molecular Chemistry (http://dcm.ujf-grenoble.fr/bea) of the Grenoble University in France, University Federico II (Napoli), Klearia and Dropsens societies
The aim of the project is the development of biosensors for marine pollutants.

Skills

The candidate should have a background in electrochemistry and enzyme manipulation. Skills in surface chemistry is welcome.

Work Context

The Département de Chimie Moléculaire de Grenoble is a unit associating both CNRS and University Grenoble Alpes. 150 persons are gathered around two main intertwinned axis: chemistry for health and chemistry for nanosciences.
The candidate will work inthe BEA team. BEA's activity is focused on molecular electrochemistry and bioelectrochemistry with the development of electrode materials whose applications include analytical chemistry with biological sensors (enzyme electrodes, immunosensors, aptasensors and DNA sensors), bioreactors and electrochemical biomimetic systems, energy conversion, biofuel cells and abiotic fuel cells.
