To study the impact of RNA modifications in ribosome assembly and activity in Arabidopsis thaliana plants.


To perform and develop molecular, biochemical and cytological approaches to characterize mechanisms involved in ribosome modifications and activity in plants. The research program include also large scale analysis, including RNAseq, RiboMethSeq, proteomics and ribosome profiling. Studies will be performed in the plant model Arabidopsis thaliana during at different plant growth and developmental stages and in response to environmental conditions.


The candidate must have expertise in standard molecular biology (DNA and RNA); biochemistry (protein production/purification) and cellular (microscopy) approaches. Competences in bioinformatics analysis and plant biology are welcome.
The candidate should be able to work independently and in a team.

Work Context

The post-doctoral work is carried out within the framework of the ANR (French National Research Agency) founded project MetRibo. The candidate will join the team nucleolus (http://lgdp.univ-perp.fr/index.php?page=equipe-4) within the LGDP (Laboratoire Génome et Développement des Plantes) and will benefit from the scientific and technical skills of the Bio-environment platform.(https://plateformes.univ-perp.fr/fr/bioenvironnement/domaines-scientistiques)
