Work Context

You will be part of a newly formed team interested in coupling mechanisms between DNA replication and asymmetric cell division in the bacterium Caulobacter crescentus as well as regulations that control the transition towards a proliferation state during the cell-cycle. The lab combines approaches in bacterial genetics and microbiology, transcriptional and protein quantifications at the population level during the cell-cycle and fluorescence microscopy on living cells at the single cell level.
