Missions
Elaborate heterostructures combining a thin film of a ferroelectric oxide (e.g. BiFeO3) by laser ablation with a two-dimensional material, typically a transition metal dichalcogenide; study the spin-orbit coupling in these heterostructures and its control by ferroelectricity; use this control to modulate the spin-charge interconversion by ferroelectricity.
