The project has the following scientific objectives: 1) simulation and design of radio frequency circuits; 2) design, fabrication and testing of demonstrators including radio frequency circuits; 3) simulation support for spintronics and neuromorphic activities.


The identified research axes are: spintronic sensors for energy harvesting, magnonic devices for signal processing and neuromorphic networks.
- Master simulation tools and design of radiofrequency circuits
- Demonstrator of an energy harvesting device
- Demonstrator of a magnonic phase shifter
- Demonstrator of a neuromorphic circuit


Expertise in the design and characterization (electrical and magnetic) of radio frequency devices
Expertise in 3D and 2D nanofabrication: 3D nanoprinting, 3D printers, CAD software, optical and electronic lithography, magnetron sputtering, ion etching, etc.
Expertise in microscopy (Kerr, TEM, X-ray, etc.) and in the calibration of complex experimental setups
Expertise in programming and simulation, data processing, advanced image processing, static and dynamic micromagnetic simulations; electromagnetic modeling and dynamic solution of differential equations

Work Context

The candidate will be assigned to UMR137 CNRS-Thales for 60% of his/her time and 40% to the LMNP laboratory (outside UMR137) which is another Thales laboratory of the Physics Department of TRT. The candidate will be assigned 20% to CNRS and 80% to Thales. The candidate must master the numerical tools for simulation and design of radiofrequency circuits, and also the numerical tools to design and manufacture (3D printing) the components necessary for the integration of demonstrators aimed at confirming the rise in maturity of the technologies studied in the laboratory. It is specified that this offer of recruitment falls within the framework of the plan France Relance on a project of research collaboration with a company which will be subjected to validation of the DRARI.
